I am injury free, everything is great.

Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk commented on recent claims that his fight against Dereck Chisora would be postponed due to the injury that he allegedly sustained. He did this on his Instagram page.

"I saw a photo saying that the bout was canceled or postponed due to an injury. Friends, all glory to God - no injuries. Everything is wonderful. Just for those who are anxious - do not worry, and those who rejoice - continue doing so. Everything is good, we have very great maintenance. That is 33 years. Every 33 years we do great maintenance," Usyk said.

With the bout to be announced in the near future, Chisora is looking forward to giving the Ukrainian a brutal introduction to the heavyweight division.

As we reported earlier, Eddie Hearn, Usyk's co-promoter, stated that the bout against Dereck Chisora was postponed due to the injury of the left elbow that Usyk sustained in his training camp.

"Usyk needs time to heal his left elbow. We were not sure he would be ready by March, but he is expected to clear up all health issues by May," Hearn said.
