Law enforcement authorities prevented the contract killing of an employee of the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), whom her ex-husband wanted to kill. The SBU press service reports.

According to investigators, the former husband of an employee of the Service Academy was looking for a killer to kill her. With the woman at the customer, legal disputes continue regarding the determination of the place of residence of the common child and the payment of alimony.

Law enforcement authorities conducted an imitation of the disappearance and murder of the victim in Kyiv, after which they informed the customer about his execution. He estimated the life of his wife at 1 thousand dollars.

SBU employees detained the ex-husband immediately after transferring the last amount of funds for the work done in one of the district centers of the Kirovohrad region.

"Within the framework of the initiated criminal proceedings, the issue of declaring a report of suspicion of a crime under paragraph 11 of part 2 of article 115 (murder to order) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is being resolved," - the message said.

The suspect faces ten to fifteen years in prison or life imprisonment.

As we reported before, Ukraine's former Deputy Minister for Occupied Territories Yuriy Grymchak should stay under 24-hour house arrest until April 13, 2020, according to the decision of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court
