President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has begun a two-day working trip to Zakarpattia region, according to his press service.
The President will inspect the reconstruction of a road checkpoint at the state border and get acquainted with the reconstruction project of Uzhhorod International Airport.
Zelensky will also inspect the overhaul of a medical institution and get acquainted with the implementation of the Great Construction national program in Zakarpattia region.
In addition, Zelensky will take part in the presentation of the Zakarpattia Region Development Strategy until 2027.
The head of state will visit local production and hold a meeting with representatives of leading enterprises in Zakarpattia region.
The President also plans to inspect cultural facilities and architectural monuments in the region that may be attractive to tourists.
