Enemies shell Donetsk region. Houses, railway station, hospital, factory destroyed

Over the past day, May 24, the Russian troops launched 25 strikes on Donetsk region.

"The enemy struck the localities of Avdiivka, Slovyansk, Kramatorsk, Mykolayivka, Lyman, Toretsk, Bakhmut, Soledar, Zalizne, Nelipivka, New York, Raihorodok, Berdychi, Shcherbynivka, Lastochkyne, Kalynove, Orlivka, Ulakly. Human casualties have been reported," the press service of the National Police of Ukraine (NPU) posted on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

As noted, 45 civilian objects – residential buildings, a hospital, a railway station, a factory, a construction company, and critical infrastructure facilities – were destroyed.

According to the National Police data, Russian troops opened fire on civilians from aircraft, tanks, heavy artillery, missile launchers, Grad and Tornado systems.

The police and the Security Service of Ukraine opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (violation of the laws or customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Over the past day, May 24, 12 civilians were killed and 10 more were wounded in the enemy attacks in Donetsk region.
