Head of the Crisis Management Center at the Consular Services Department of Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Maksym Kovalenko has said Ukraine is not going to evacuate its citizens from Italy yet.

"At this point, we are not talking about the evacuation [of Ukrainians] from Italy," he said, according to the Ukrainian media outlet lb.ua.

At the same time, the consular service is in constant contact with Ukrainians who are abroad, including in Italy.

Kovalenko stressed all requests of citizens of Ukraine had been taken into account.

As UNIAN reported earlier, a Ukrainian woman was hospitalized in Italy after having tested positive for the novel coronavirus. She is not in critical condition.
