Six more vessels loaded with grain leave Ukrainian ports.

On September 19, 2022, six more vessels loaded with Ukrainian-produced agricultural crops left Odesa Region’s ports.

The relevant statement was made by Türkiye’s National Defense Ministry on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“As part of grain shipments, six more vessels have left the Ukrainian ports as scheduled today,” the report states.

As of September 18, 2022, a total of 3.7 million tonnes of agricultural crops had been exported since the so-called ‘grain corridor’ was opened. In general, 165 ships left the Ukrainian ports, carrying agricultural crops towards Asian, European and African countries.

A reminder that, on July 22, 2022, Ukraine, Turkey, Russia and the United Nations signed an agreement in Istanbul, unblocking grain and food exports from three Ukrainian ports. The duration period of the agreement is 120 days, but the Turkish side, with the support of the UN, expects to extend it.
