Templegate’s racing tips: Newcastle and Southwell – Betting preview for Friday.

COME home First at Southwell.

VERY FIRST TIME (1.25, nap) looked a winner in waiting when third at Market Rasen last time. He finished with a full tank of petrol and this longer distance should be ideal.

FELIX D’AUTRY (2.35 Southwell, nb) showed promise when second in a Fontwell bumper on debut.

He looks the type to make a nice hurdler.

SHENEEDEDTHERUN (2.15 Newcastle, treble) didn’t live up to her name when second after a break at Worcester last month.

The handicapper has left her mark alone and she looks hard to beat.
