Ukraine interested in deepening of trade and economic cooperation with UAE – Liubchenko.

First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Oleksiy Liubchenko and Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates H.E. Dr. Thani Ahmed Al Zeyoudi discussed the attraction of investments, the resumption of work of the Ukraine-UAE Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, and prospects for trade liberalization.

They discussed these issues during an online meeting on July 27, 2021, the Government portal reports.

"Ukraine is interested in attracting foreign investment. So far, a number of legislative initiatives have been taken to improve the investment climate. In particular, laws on state support of projects involving large foreign investments over 20 million euros, the introduction of industrial parks, public-private partnership. We have a wide range of areas that may be of interest to business. And when we talk about investments, we mean not only funds, but also innovations, technologies and human capital," he said during the meeting.
