Almost 162,000 people get COVID-19 shots on Aug 13

A total of 161,792 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine on Friday, August 13.

"As many as 161,792 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 on August 13, 2021. Some 106,206 people received their first dose, and 55,586 people were fully vaccinated," the Health Ministry of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

According to the Ministry, 926 mobile vaccination teams, 2,879 vaccination sites, and 335 vaccination centres were operating across the country in the past day.

A total of 7, 333,550 doses have been administered in Ukraine since it launched a vaccination campaign, with 4,644,647 people receiving their first dose and 2,688,903 people receiving two doses (two people received their first dose abroad).
