Ukrainian, Lithuanian presidents meet in Vilnius

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is holding a meeting with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda in Vilnius, the press service of the Ukrainian President's Office has reported.

According to the report, the meeting is taking place as part of the Ukrainian president's working visit to Lithuania.

"As part of his working visit to Lithuania, the head of the Ukrainian state, Volodymyr Zelensky, continues his meeting with President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda. The meeting is taking place in a narrow format at the Presidential Palace in Vilnius," the report reads.

It is planned that after the talks the presidents will take part in the introductory session of the Ukraine Reform Conference "A Strong Ukraine in a Strong European and Euro-Atlantic Family."

Zelensky and Nauseda are also expected to talk to media representatives.

Zelensky is on a visit to Lithuania on July 6-7. On July 6, during trilateral talks with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda and European Council President Charles Michel, Яудутылн stressed that Ukraine's strategic course towards full membership in the European Union remained unchanged.

The Ukraine Reform Conference was launched in London in 2017 as a format for uniting the efforts of partners and friends of Ukraine. The participants in the forum discuss the situation in the country and assess democratic transformations and reforms that have been conducted since 2014. The conference was then convened in Copenhagen in 2018 and in Toronto in 2019.
