Almost 8,000 medical workers in Ukraine already contract coronavirus.

As of July 20, 7,985 healthcare workers in Ukraine have contracted the coronavirus disease COVID-19.

Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said this at a briefing on Monday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"During the entire period of the pandemic, 59,493 people have fallen ill, including 4,204 children and 7,985 healthcare workers," Stepanov stressed.
