The UN International Court in the Hague
Today, on October 8, the International Court of the United Nations in the Hague supported Ukraine's lawsuit against Russia about its violations of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD) and the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism. Deputy of the Ministry on European integration issues Olena Zerkal reported that on her Facebook page.
"We have won," she wrote.
As the European Truth issue reports, the court dismissed the objection of the Russian Federation, which demanded to close the case and claimed that the Convention is unacceptable to its aid to the militants on the East of Ukraine.
Previously, Ukraine filed the memorandum on the financing of the terrorism and racial discrimination to the UN International Court.
"Today Russia will get so-called "gift" from us in the UN International Court. It weighs about 90 kilograms, consists of 17, 500 pages and contains 29 volumes. We file our memorandum on the financing of the terrorism and racial discrimination," Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin twitted.
