Chornomorets holds first training session with new coach.

Chornomorets Odesa has held the first training session under the leadership of newly appointed head coach Serhiy Kovalets, the club's press service has reported.

The training session took place on May 14 at the club's base at the Sovinyon resort.

On May 13, Chornomorets said that Kovalets had become the club's new head coach. The 51-year-old manager last worked at Obolon-Brovar, which he left in the winter offseason. Kovalets played for Chornomorets in 1996-1997.

The season in Ukrainian football was suspended in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, but it may resume on May 30 amid the eased quarantine.
