Election day in Kyiv is calm, police receives over 300 reports of violations – Kryschenko.

In Kyiv, voting day in local elections is generally held without gross violations, but 324 reports of possible violations of electoral legislation have been received, Head of Kyiv police Andriy Kryschenko has said.

"In Kyiv, as of 17:00, the police recorded 324 reports of possible violations of electoral legislation," the National Police of Ukraine said, citing Kryschenko.

According to him, in general, the electoral process on this day is proceeding calmly and without gross violations.

"The main task of law enforcement officers during local elections is to ensure public safety in the capital and preserve electoral documentation. There is a situation center in the metropolitan police headquarters that monitors statements related to the electoral process around the clock," Kryschenko said.

He also urged citizens to immediately contact police officers on the ground if they witness violations of electoral legislation, and the police will instantly respond to such statements and provide each event with the appropriate legal qualifications.
