Ukraine has already imposed sanctions on 4,500 Russians.

As the press service of the Ministry of Economy reports, sanctions were imposed on almost 4,500 individuals and legal entities, worked out and recommended against over 6,000 individuals and legal entities more.

"I believe that the gained pace will allow President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to fulfill his task of increasing sanctions pressure on the aggressor. Further on, we will keep intensifying efforts in this area," noted Yuliya Svyrydenko, Head of the IWG, First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine.

The sanctioned individuals include the children and relatives of Vladimir Putin and Sergey Lavrov; businessman Sergey Roldugin, known as "Putin's wallet"; top political and military leadership of Russia and Belarus; Russian oligarchs on the Forbes list and their entourage: Arkadiy Rotenberg and Boris Rotenberg, Mikhail Prokhorov, Suleiman Kerimov, Yuriy Kovalchuk, etc. – a total of 256 people.

In addition, proposals for the imposition of sanctions on over 6,000 individuals and legal entities more were considered and recommended for consideration by the National Security and Defense Council. The draft sanctions target 1,000 representatives of the Russian government, the military leadership, the banking sector, more than 2,000 propagandists, cultural figures, bloggers, athletes, TV and radio broadcasting companies, publishing houses, etc., and more than 3,000 enterprises of the military-industrial complex.
