Two Ukrainian servicemen killed in Donetsk region

A Ukrainian serviceman was killed in Russia’s shelling of Ukrainian positions near the village of Nevelske in Donetsk region. Another Ukrainian soldier was killed in an unknown explosive device blast near Stepne in Donetsk region.

“Today, April 6, in the area of ​​responsibility of the operational and tactical group ‘East’, the armed formations of the Russian Federation once again violated the ceasefire and fired on the positions of Ukrainian defenders near the village of Nevelske. A Ukrainian defender was wounded in the enemy mortar fire. The soldier was promptly provided with first aid. Unfortunately, he died during the evacuation,” the press service of the Operational and Tactical Group "East" posted on Facebook.

Another serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received fatal injuries when a military vehicle was blown up by a land mine near the village of Stepne.

The military unit leadership and the working group of the military law enforcement service are working at the scene.

As reported, the armed formations of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire in the Joint Forces Operation area seven times over the past 24 hours, on April 5. Two Ukrainian soldiers were killed.
