Ukrainian Health Minister Maksym Stepanov has listed four regions with the most COVID-19 cases reported in the past day.

"In terms of the regions, the highest number of confirmed cases in the past 24 hours was registered in Lviv region (143), Zakarpattia region (97), Rivne region (74), and Odesa region (66)," he said at a briefing on June 30.

In total, 10,992 tests were conducted in the country in the past day. In particular, there were 962 tests done with the use of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method and 4,030 with the application of the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method.

As UNIAN reported earlier, as of 09:00 Kyiv time on June 30, there were 44,334 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine. They included 1,159 deaths and 19,115 recoveries. Some 706 new cases were recorded in the past day, 192 of them were hospitalized. In the past 24 hours, 12 coronavirus patients died, while 88 recovered.
