The Government of Luxembourg has decided to send additional high mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicles (HMMWVs) to Ukraine.
Minister of Defense of Luxembourg François Bausch wrote this on Twitter, according to Ukrinform.
“The Army of Luxembourg and the Defense Forces of Luxembourg support the Armed Forces of Ukraine by sending additional High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV). These will strengthen Ukraine’s in exercising its right to self-defence,” he wrote.
Bausch added that Luxembourg will support Ukraine for as long as it takes.
The minister also noted that the Army of Luxembourg would take part in the European Union's Military Assistance Mission to Ukraine (EUMAM), which will train 15,000 Ukrainian soldiers.
