Bukovel resort plans to open ski season in early December despite pandemic.

The Bukovel ski resort in the Carpathians, Ivano-Frankivsk region, is planning to launch a ski season on December 4-6, despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I think we will be able to open the winter season from December 4 to 6 ... we invite you to the Ukrainian Carpathians. There is no virus here, just fresh air," Bukovel Director Oleksandr Shevchenko wrote on his Facebook page.
