More than half of Ukrainian citizens say their financial condition deteriorated in 2020.
In particular, 51.8% of Ukrainians note a decline in their savings this year, according to a survey conducted by the Social Monitoring Center.
Read also Poll: Ukrainians name key challenges for country At the same time, 36.3% of respondents pointed out no changes in their financial situation, while 8% said their finances even improved.
According to statistics, residents of western Ukraine (62.3%) suffered the most from unemployment, while those living in the country's central regions managed to slightly increase their income.

- The poll was run by Kyiv-based NGO Social Monitoring Center in 24 regions of Ukraine and the city of Kyiv on December 17-23.
- Some 2,500 adult respondents were polled using face-to-face interviews at places of their residence.
- The margin of error is between 1.2% and 2.0%.
