Ukraine Army destroys four enemy missiles fired from Black Sea.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has shot down four Kalibr cruise missiles fired by Russian invaders from the Black Sea.
The relevant statement was made by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Around 10:00 a.m., August 8, 2022, in the southern direction, [Russian] occupiers fired four Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles from the Black Sea. The Air Force’s anti-aircraft defense units shot down all of them,” the report states.
One missile was destroyed by the air-defense missile unit of the South Operational Command over Odesa Region. Three more missiles were destroyed by the air-defense missile units of the Center Operational Command over central Ukraine.
