Luhansk region suffers 26 enemy attacks

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops launched 26 attacks on towns and villages of Luhansk region, damaging at least 24 houses.

"On May 11, Russians damaged at least 24 houses, seven of them in Sievierodonetsk," the press service of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration posted on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

As noted, Russians began firing artillery on Sievierodonetsk at about 10:00. Seven high-rise blocks were damaged to varying degrees. Three more houses were destroyed in Rubizhne, two – in Hirske, five – in Vrubivka, four – in Komyshuvakha, and three more – in Toshkivka. In total, towns and villages of Luhansk region suffered 26 attacks on May 11 with most, nine, launched on Sievierodonetsk.

The administration says it has become more difficult to deliver humanitarian goods due to the aggravated situation. Yesterday, a truck was damaged coming under fire near Lysychansk.

It is extremely dangerous to even maintain public order. Police officers, whose functions were greatly expanded during martial law, come under fire in the streets almost every day.

As the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informs, Russian troops continue to conduct offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone to establish full control over the territory of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson regions.

Over the past day, in the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the Ukrainian defenders repulsed nine enemy attacks, destroyed eight enemy tanks, six armored personnel vehicles, five vehicles, and one anti-aircraft gun.
