Russians hit Nikopol district with anti-aircraft missiles, wounding two.

Russian troops opened fire from an anti-aircraft missile system at the Village of Vyshchetarasivka of the Nikopol district, Dnipropetrovsk region, wounding two locals.

That’s according to Yevhen Yevtushenko, head of the Nikopol District Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.

"On the opposite bank (of the Kakhovsky Reservoir. - ed.) the movement of enemy anti-aircraft missiles was recorded. There was a salvo toward the Village of Vyshchetarasivka. The threat of shelling of the littoral areas (cities, villages, and towns) of the Kakhovsky Reservoir remains in place," the statement reads.

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk, reported that two people were wounded in the Myrivska community of the Nikopol district as a result of the shelling.

"Russian occupying forces continue to intimidate our communities. They shelled the Myrivska community in the Nikopol district. Forty shots were fired by an MLRS. According to preliminary reports, there are two casualties: a man and a woman sustained shrapnel wounds," the message reads.

According to Lukashuk, a local gas main was damaged. Information about the damage inflicted is being verified.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, last night the Russians fired 120 rockets at Nikopol, using the Grad MLRS systems. An apartment building, the premises of four local enterprises, and a gas pipeline were damaged by shelling. A locksmith was injured at one of the affected enterprises.
