Ukraine's MFA not working on evacuation of Ukrainians from Italy.

The Department of Consular Services of Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry reports that the evacuation of Ukrainians from Italy is not in progress. The head of consular service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maksym Kovalenko informed about it, Ukranews reports.

"The evacuation (of Ukrainians – 112 International.) from Italy is not being discussed at this moment," he said.

Kovalenko noted that the consular service was in constant contact with those Ukrainians who were abroad, including in Italy,

According to him, all requests of Ukrainian citizens are being taken into account.

As we reported earlier, there is no information on Ukrainians that are among the infected with coronavirus in Japan. Ukraine's Embassy in Japan stated this is a response to the information request, which was made by UNN.

"Information about the infected citizens of Ukraine, except for the crew members of the Diamond Princess cruise liner, is not available. Ukrainian citizens who have been infected and are in hospitals will be released after the results of the two tests are negative and Japanese doctors make a decision on their discharge," the statement reads.
