Ukraine has already concluded agreements on the supply of 30 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines in 2021, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said.
"In February, we launched a vaccination campaign against coronavirus. As we promised, all Ukrainians will have access to high-quality and safe vaccines. The effective vaccine from AstraZeneca has arrived in Ukraine, we also expect Pfizer [vaccine] in the near future, general contractual agreements have reached almost 30 million doses for this year,” Shmyhal said at a government meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
The Prime Minister also reminded that Ukraine would receive EUR 50 million from the European Investment Bank (EIB) for the purchase of COVID-19 vaccines and medical equipment.
