7-year-old girl becomes first patient with Covid-19 in Volyn region.

A 7-year-old girl became the first patient diagnosed with coronavirus in Volyn region as Volyn Regional State Administration reported.

According to the Regional State Administration, a mother and a girl came to the doctor on March 23; a child has 37.2 degrees fever during the examination; after the negative result of the test for Influenza A and B; the decision was made to collect samples for test for Covid-19.

In the evening on the same day, she had 38.2 degrees fever but it decreased the next days. Currently, the girl is in a satisfactory condition; she was not hospitalized; she stays in isolation at home.

As of 7:00 am, on March 25, 113 cases of Covid-19 coronavirus infection were recorded in Ukraine. Of all 113 cases, four were lethal, one patient has recovered and has already been discharged from the hospital.

Particularly, a man who was diagnosed with the Covid-19 died in the Ternopil region. A resident of the Kovalivka village, the Monastyryskyi district, died at the age of 68. According to doctors, he was in a state of moderate severity.
