The Verkhovna Rada adopted the Law of Ukraine "On Ratification of the Framework Military Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Turkey".

The decision was supported by 303 MPs, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Thus, the ratification of the framework military agreement between the governments of Ukraine and Turkey (No.0119) will allow to carry out the domestic procedure related to the entry into force of the agreement, which will create a basis for relations and cooperation between the parties in 21 areas of military cooperation.

The Framework Military Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Turkey, signed in Istanbul on October 16, 2020, shall enter into force on the date of the last written notification by which the parties notify each other of the completion of domestic legal procedures through diplomatic channels.
