Zakarpattia region to cooperate with Egypt on education and tourism.

Zakarpattia region will galvanize education and tourism cooperation with the Badr University in Cairo.

"We already have a positive experience in implementing international exchange programs for students and professors, and we are ready for new large-scale initiatives. I and Hassan El Kalla, the founder of the largest private university in Egypt – Badr University in Cairo – discussed the implementation of joint projects, in particular, the development of tourism cluster and culture of Ukraine and Egypt," Chairman of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration Anatoliy Poloskov said at a working meeting with representatives of the Badr University in Cairo.

According to Anatoliy Poloskov, cooperation in this area is promising for both countries.

"We are open to communication and quality cooperation with our foreign partners in various fields," Poloskov said.

The parties also discussed the possibility of recognizing the diplomas of Uzhhorod National University by Egypt and attracting Egypt’s investments in Zakarpattia region.
