Ukrainian Defense Minister Andrii Taran will be a member of the presidential delegation during its visit to the United Kingdom, and it is too early to talk about his replacement, Ukrainian presidential press secretary Serhiy Nykyforov has told Ukrinform.
"Andrii Taran is to fly to Britain as a member of the presidential delegation. He has important events planned there. It is too early to talk about replacing the minister. He continues to perform his functions, and such public talks will only hinder him," he said.
Earlier, the head of the Servant of the People faction in parliament, David Arakhamia, said that President Volodymyr Zelensky had already decided on a candidate for Ukraine's new defense minister, with the Verkhovna Rada expected to vote for this appointment in two or three weeks.
