Kuleba: From today we know for 100% that Ukraine to be EU's member.

The wording of the resolution of the informal summit of EU leaders indicates that Ukraine will become a member of the EU, now it is a matter of time, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said.

"From today, we, Ukrainians, know 100% that Ukraine will be a member of the EU. Now it is a matter of time. If before the war we hypothetically dreamed that we would someday become a member of the European Union, now we will definitely become one. We will work to make this happen as soon as possible," Kuleba said on the air of the national telethon on Friday.

Kuleba said that Ukraine was waiting for the resolution of the informal summit of EU leaders to say that, in accordance with Article 49 of the EU Treaty, Brussels is taking Ukraine's application into work and will consider it under an accelerated procedure.

"If we compare our expectations yesterday and today, then, of course, we would like more, but, in principle, what happened tonight (if we compare it with what we had three weeks ago), then this is a revolution that meets the interests of Ukraine and the EU and puts our membership in the EU on track," the Foreign Minister said.
