MoD explains why Russians spin fake news on mobilization of females in Ukraine.
Kremlin propaganda continues to spread fake reports and myths, manipulating facts to influence Ukrainian audiences. In particular, they have been attempting to discredit the ongoing mobilization campaign.
That’s according to the Deputy Minister of Defense, Hanna Maliar, who addressed the issue on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
She said that reports about the alleged mobilization of female conscripts have returned to the agenda of pro-Russian Telegram channels. "It would seem that this topic has seen no feedback so many times, but they are persistently trying to ‘spin’ it, despite no success achieved," said the deputy minister of defense.

Maliar emphasized that in Ukraine, female citizens shall not be mobilized without their consent. Even war medics don’t get sent to the front line without prior consent, she noted.
"If a female conscript receives a draft notice, it is to clarify her personal data. According to the law, such a checkup must be done every five years," she added.
Maliar also noted that information is constantly circulating that subpoenas will be issued allegedly through the Diia application for government e-services, which is not true.
The deputy minister spoke of the latest Russian fake narrative which claims that the mobilized troops are immediately sent to Bakhmut without any training.
"Actually, those who never underwent military service are sent to training centers. Due to the large-scale war, the training of private and non-commissioned officers takes place in a shorter time frame, but without reducing the quality of such training," she said.
The official also urged all those who are deployed to the front line without training to report to the hotline phones: 0-800-500-410, 0-800-500-442, and 044-454-44-99
"In addition, it is necessary to understand that the newly mobilized are deployed in different areas, not only to the east. There are many military units in the rear across different regions of Ukraine, tasked with bringing our Victory closer. The spectrum is wide - from educational facilities and units to bases, depots, and arsenals, and also there are maintenance, communications, and cyber defense units. It is worth mentioning airfields, hospitals, and transport bases. Their round-the-clock protection and defense are required. Mobilization is also taking place to cover such positions," said Maliar.
As Ukrinform reported, the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine refuted a fake story about draft offices allegedly sending out draft notices via the Diia application for government e-services.
