Ukrainian culture minister, Belgian foreign minister agree on cooperation.
Ukrainian Culture and Information Policy Minister Oleksandr Tkachenko has held a meeting with Belgium's Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Foreign Trade and the Federal Cultural Institutions Hadja Lahbib at the National Art Museum of Ukraine and the Sophia of Kyiv National Sanctuary Complex.
He wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"We showed our art, historical and architectural monuments, our history and roots. We agreed on cooperation: Ukrainian cultural seasons in Belgium, supply of generators to our institutions and media for the winter, spreading the ban on Russian propaganda, assistance in preserving Ukrainian cultural heritage," Tkachenko said.
According to him, Belgium is disbursing EUR 150,000 in cultural aid to Ukraine.
According to the minister, Brussels is providing new humanitarian and military aid to Ukraine and joined the Grain from Ukraine humanitarian initiative. "The number of our sincere friends is growing," Tkachenko said.
