Russian occupying forces continue to conduct offensive operations in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka sectors and suffer heavy losses.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this on its Facebook page.
In the past 24 hours, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled enemy attacks outside the settlements of Hrekivka, Nevske, Kreminna and Dibrova in the Luhansk region and Verkhniokamianske, Krasna Hora, Paraskoviivka, Bakhmut and Ivanivske in the Donetsk region.
"Throughout the past day, the enemy launched 20 air strikes and three missile strikes, including on the civilian infrastructure of the Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions. There are victims among the civilian population. The enemy carried out more than 90 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems. There remains a threat of Russian air and missile strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine," the General Staff added.
In the past day, Ukraine's Air Force launched eight strikes on enemy concentration areas. Four Russian Orlan-10 drones were destroyed. Ukrainian rocket and artillery forces hit a command post, two enemy concentration areas and a Solntsepyok heavy flamethrower system.
