COVID-19 in Ukraine: 31,125 daily cases reported as of Feb 19.

Over the past day, on Friday, a total of 31,125 new coronavirus cases were confirmed across Ukraine.

That’s according to the press service of the Ministry of Health, Ukrinform reports, referring to the ministry’s Facebook page.

"As of February 18, we recorded 31,125 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 coronavirus (including 2,611 involving children and 765 – medics)," the statement said.

According to the health ministry officials, 3,208 coronavirus patients were hospitalized on Friday.

Also, 260 lethal cases were reported against 30,487 recoveries.

Throughout the entire pandemic period, 4,703,323 people contracted COVID-19 in Ukraine, of whom 3,926,496 recovered and 104,366 succumbed to the virus.

A total of 19,341,828 PCR tests were performed to detect the coronavirus.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, 34,938 COVID-19 cases were registered in Ukraine on February 17.
