Rada increases number of State Border Guard Service by 7,000 servicemen.
The Verkhovna Rada has increased the number of the State Border Guard Service during the special period by 7,000 servicemen.
The adoption of the relevant bill No. 7161 at the first and the second reading was supported by 334 MPs at the plenary session on Tuesday.
According to the law, during the special period, the total number of the State Border Guard Service increased by the number of personnel called up for military service, and will be 60,000 people, of which 52,000 are military personnel.
Previously, the total number of this law enforcement agency numbered 53,000 people, including 45,000 military personnel.
Shmyhal: Govt allocates over UAH 8 bln for construction of fortifications.
