A civilian was killed as a result of the latest Russian attack on the temporarily occupied Enerhodar in Zaporizhia region, a town located by the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant.
Dmytro Orlov, Enerhodar Mayor, delivered the news on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"As a result of the shelling of District One, a man was killed while walking his dog. The animal did not survive either," the mayor wrote.
As reported earlier, on August 14, the occupiers opened fire on the temporarily captured town of Enerhodar.
The enemy opens fire on the town from close range because, according to the mayor, "the gap between the shots and the hits is only two to three seconds."
Due to the constant shelling of Enerhodar and the ZNPP by the invasion forces, the number of those willing to evacuate the area has increased, including NPP staff.
