Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak has said that the government's task for next year is to accelerate the development of Ukraine.
He wrote this in a column for the Liga.net media outlet, Ukrinform reports.
“Next year we will have a lot of interesting and important work. Volodymyr Zelensky gave a clear strategic vision - to accelerate the development of Ukraine. And our task is to turn this into a real improvement in the quality of life of all Ukrainians,” Yermak noted.
According to him, it is critical to continue the development of the country, namely the transport, energy and social infrastructure, as well as the healthcare system. In addition, he promised that next year "serious attention" will be paid to educational and cultural facilities.
At the same time, Yermak underlined that it is necessary to overcome the "resistance of the old system" in order to accelerate the implementation of long-term plans.
He assured that Ukraine is a country that never stops, noting that in 2021 it will make a big leap forward. “Our motivation is simple – to create a country for which future generations will be thankful,” Yermak added.
