Russia has killed 438 children in Ukraine

The Russian army has already killed 438 children and injured 841 more in Ukraine.

"As of the morning of November 23, 2022, more than 1,279 children were affected in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to the official information of the juvenile prosecutors, 438 children were killed and more than 841 were injured," the Prosecutor General's Office posted on Telegram.

It is noted that these numbers are not final as efforts are ongoing to establish casualties in the areas of active hostilities, in temporarily captured and liberated territories.

As noted, most children were affected in Donetsk region – 424, Kharkiv region – 266, Kyiv region – 117, Mykolaiv region – 77, Zaporizhzhia region – 76, Chernihiv region – 68, Kherson region – 67, Luhansk region – 64, Dnipropetrovsk region – 32.

On November 23, the Russian troops killed a newborn baby, hitting a maternity ward of a hospital in Vilniansk, Zaporizhzhia region.

On November 22, two boys, aged 10 and 13, were injured in the enemy shelling of Kherson city.

Due to bombing and shelling by the armed forces of the Russian Federation, 2,719 educational institutions were damaged; 332 of them were completely destroyed.
