Russian troops attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with heavy artillery and Grad multiple rocket launchers overnight.
Valentyn Reznichenko, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"The Russians abused the Nikopol district at night again. They held three communities in their gunsights - Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka and Nikopol. They hit them with Grads and heavy artillery. They fired more than 50 shells at towns and villages overnight," he wrote.
According to Reznichenko, people were not injured in the shelling. Residential buildings were damaged, he said.
