President of the European Council Charles Michel wished Ukraine that next year the international Eurovision Song Contest would be held in Kyiv in a free and united country.

"Sincere congratulations Kalush Orchestra on winning the Eurovision 2022! Wishing that next year’s Eurovision can be hosted in Kyiv in a free and united Ukraine," he said on Twitter.
