Another Russian Alligator helicopter downed by Igla.
Today, a Ukrainian paratrooper shot down a Russian Ka-52 Alligator helicopter by Igla man-portable air defense system.
"Our crew came on combat duty. At about 08:00, three enemy Ka-52s appeared in the sky from the enemy's side. As the helicopters approached, I aimed my Igla MANPADS at the target and launched a missile. It hit a rotor. Thick black smoke rose from the struck Alligator," said a serviceman of the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine posted on Facebook.
