EMMERDALE fans have been left horrified after predicting that Mandy Dingle and her "son" Vinny may actually be secret lovers.
The pair arrived in the Dales pretending to be mother and son but Wednesday's episode confirmed that Vinny was not her son.
What other secrets are they hiding?
Mandy hinted that Vinny had also grown up not being around his family
As Lydia revealed her own hopes to learn where she really came from, Mandy hinted that Vinny had also grown up not being around his family either, sharing: "All that stuff she was saying, about her roots, it made me think of you."
They then held hands and as they looked into each other's eyes, he replied: "At least I knew my family."
"Do you think about them much?" Mandy then asked, confirming she was not his family.
But confused viewers then took to social media to question what was really going on between the pair, as they held hands and Vinny cuddled into Mandy.

"Are Vinny and Mandy a couple? #Emmerdale," tweeted one concerned viewer, while another added vomiting emojis and shared: "Are Vinny and Mandy lovers?"
Viewers had long been wondering if Vinny was really Mandy's son.
Many believe he may in fact be Paddy Kirk's son with former Emmerdale resident Emily Kirk.
The storyline comes amid reports that the show having three producers - Jane Hudson, Kate Brooks and Laura Shaw, a soap first - has led to confusion and disarray behind the scenes with producers taking different storyline blocks each.
Nine actors have been revealed to be leaving the soap amid a host of huge blunders in storylines, and worried fans are concerned the show is on a downward spiral after Andrew Scarborough became the latest actor to quit the soap.
A source said: "It's really tough behind the scenes, morale is low and no-one seems to be aware of what's going on.
"Fans are noticing and it's really disheartening to everyone who works so hard on the show. There's a real feeling that something drastic has to happen to save the show."
