Russian troops begin to storm Azovstal plant
Russian invaders are attempting to break into the territory of Mariupol-based Azovstal plant in several places.
The relevant statement was made during a nationwide telethon, referring to Mariupol Patrol Police Department Head Mykhailo Vershynin, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Artillery and aviation preparations have lasted for almost a day. As the buses left, they made a pause. They started to launch strikes night and day. Now they are storming the plant in several places. We are keeping the defense, fighting back,” Vershynin told.
A reminder that, on May 2, 2022, after civilians were partially evacuated from the Azovstal plant, Russians continued to fire on the plant with all kinds of weapons. Mariupol defenders were repulsing enemy attacks.
