Ukraine’s Armed Forces repulse Russian offensive in four directions.
The invaders tried to break through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Velyka Komyshuvakha in Slovyansk direction, assaulted Kharkiv and Bakhmut directions and the areas near Avdiivka and Pisky. All the enemy's attempts ended in failure.
This is stated in the latest report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 18:00, August 10, published on Facebook.
In Kharkiv direction, the enemy actively conducted aerial reconnaissance with UAVs, shelled the areas of Svitlychne, Prudianka, Ruska Lozova, Cherkaski Tyshky and Ruski Tyshky, Verkhniy Saltiv and Staryi Saltiv, Korobochkyne, and Shevelivka. The invaders also launched an airstrike near Husarivka.
To improve their tactical position, the occupiers assaulted the areas of Uda, Petrivka, and Husarivka. Ukrainian soldiers inflicted significant losses on the invaders and forced them to flee.
Artillery shelling continued in Avdiivka direction near Avdiivka, Marinka, Pisky, Kurakhove, Sukha Balka, and Krasnohorivka. The occupiers also used aviation outside Krasnohorivka and Marinka.
The enemy went on the offensive in the directions of Avdiivka and Pisky, was repulsed and retreated.
In Slovyansk direction, the enemy opened fire from tanks, tube and rocket artillery in the areas of Dovhenke, Velyka Komyshuvakha, Virnopillia, Dibrivne, Bohorodychne, Krasnopillia, and Dolyna. Near Velyka Komyshuvakha, the occupiers tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops but did not succeed and retreated.
In Donetsk direction, the enemy used tube, rocket artillery and tanks to push the Ukrainian units back.
In Kramatorsk direction, shelling was recorded near Siversk, Verkhniokamyanske, Hryhorivka, and Sydorove.
In Bakhmut direction, the enemy fired artillery at civilian infrastructure near Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Soledar, Yakovlivka, and Vershyna. Airstrikes were launched near Yakovlivka, Spirne, Soledar, Bakhmut, Zaytseve, Vershyna and Vesele.
The enemy tried to advance in the areas of Bakhmut, Kodema, Spirne, Yakovlivka and Soledar with offensive and assaults but failed and retreated.
The situation in Volyn and Polissya directions has not changed.
In Siversky direction, the enemy shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of Senkivka, Chernihiv region, and Havrylova Sloboda, Stari Vyrky, Seredyna-Buda, and Brusky, Sumy region.
In Southern Buh direction, the enemy focuses its main efforts on holding the occupied positions and preventing the advance of Ukrainian troops.
The invaders shelled civilian and military infrastructure in the areas of Prybuzke, Lymany, Luch, Oleksandrivka, Novomykolaivka, Myrne, Blahodatne, Kobzartsi, Kniazivka, and Trudoliubivka. Airstrikes were launched near Andriivka, Olhyne, and Novohryhorivka. The Russians tried to conduct reconnaissance by fighting near Lozova but came under accurate Ukrainian fire, suffered losses, and retreated chaotically.
