Cyber police chief represents strategy of department transformation until 2025.

During the third International Forum "Cybersecurity - let's protect business, let's protect the state", Chief of the Cyber Police Department Oleksandr Hrynchak has presented a strategy of transformation of the department until 2025.

"Participants discussed ways of public and private cooperation in building secure cyberspace in Ukraine. Oleksandr Hrynchak said that the department has elaborated a concept of development and transformation until 2025," reads a report released by the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine.

In particular, the cyber police aim to expand the staff of cybersecurity specialists, interact quickly with international cyberspace players, build systematic work with both standard cybersecurity algorithms and create innovative approaches in the fight against cybercrime.

It is noted that the key focus of efforts is aimed at creating a closed cycle of combating cybercrime (intelligence, prevention, response), improving niche expert examination when working in cyberspace with a banking line, illegal content and providing the necessary support to active cyberspace users and other police units.

It is noted that strategic goals of cyber police include the systematic improvement and development of the legislative field in the sector of cybersecurity; creating a secure infrastructure for working with sensitive data, providing a new level of service and building a service infrastructure for interaction with active users of cyberspace.

As reported, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov stated that a cybersecurity unit should be established at every state agency and institution.
