President of the Swiss Confederation Simonetta Sommaruga will make a state visit to Ukraine on July 20-23.

"On July 20-23, President of the Swiss Confederation Simonetta Sommaruga will make a state visit to Ukraine at the invitation of the Head of State," the press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine informs.

The leaders will hold face-to-face talks. The meetings of delegations are also scheduled.

It is planned to discuss a wide range of issues of bilateral Ukraine- Switzerland relations, as well as cooperation between the parties in the international arena.

Volodymyr Zelensky and Simonetta Sommaruga are expected pay a joint working visit to Donbas to get acquainted with the security and socio-economic situation in the region, as well as the progress of implementation of Swiss humanitarian aid projects.
