Ukraine must always be ready to face another Russian invasion, President Zelensky says.

In the future, Ukraine must always remain ready to repel another Russian invasion.

This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky during an online press conference for Danish media, Ukrinform reports.

"From the security perspective, our country must be ready at any moment for any invasion. Therefore, we will build back our country and rebuild the security element of our country precisely on such grounds and principles – always be ready for the risk of invasion from the Russian side," Zelensky said.

The president also noted that the future lasting peace with Russia depends on whether the Russian side looks into its own civilized development in the future, or they "just want to be a separate small state without any links with the open world."
