At 12:50, Russian troops struck Chuhuiv town, Kharkiv region, with cluster munitions. One person was killed, two more were injured, including citizens of the Russian Federation.
"The killed and an injured are citizens of the Russian Federation. The killed man stayed at home at the time of the attack," Serhiy Bolvinov, head of the investigative department of the National Police Department in Kharkiv region, posted on Facebook.
According to Bolvinov, the Ukrainian air defense units shot down an enemy missile in Kharkiv region in the morning. Its fragments resemble S-300 missile.
"At around 09:00, local residents heard explosions in one of the districts of Kharkiv region and called the police. At the scene, the police officers found fragments similar to those of S-300 missile," the report reads.
The fragments fell into the field and slightly damaged sunflowers.
