Zelensky thanks UK for new military aid package: Exactly what Ukraine needs.
President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Great Britain for the military aid package.
“Tanks, APCs and artillery are exactly what Ukraine needs to restore its territorial integrity,” Zelensky posted on Twitter.
He thanked British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, British Secretary of State for Defence Ben Wallace, and the British people for their powerful contribution to the common victory over tyranny.

As reported, the United Kingdom announced the most significant military aid package for Ukraine. The new package will include a squadron of Challenger 2 tanks, eight AS90 guns (two further batteries at varying states of readiness), 100 armoured and protected vehicles (including Bulldog personnel carriers), a manoeuvre support package (including minefield breaching and bridging capabilities worth £28 million), dozens more uncrewed aerial systems worth £20 million to support Ukrainian artillery, 100,000 artillery rounds, hundreds more sophisticated missiles.
