Update on situation across regions: Blasts heard in Mykolaiv, Russians again fire at Sumy Region.

This morning explosions have been heard in the city of Mykolaiv, and Russian troops have again opened fire on Sumy Region from across the state border.

The relevant statement was made in a consolidated report by regional military and civil administration on the situation across regions as of 08:00 a.m., June 13, 2022, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In Sumy Region, it was calm last night but, in the morning, Russian troops resumed fire. At about 06:00 a.m., Russians fired at the Esman community with mortar systems. After 07:00 a.m., about 30 explosions were heard. Enemy troops opened fire from the territory of Russia. No casualties or damage were reported. Over the past day, Russians have been firing at the border areas with heavy weapons, artillery and mortars.

In Dnipropetrovsk Region, Russian invaders shelled residential areas in the Zelenodolsk community with the Uragan multiple launch-rocket systems. Reportedly, one civilian was killed and five injured in Zelenodolsk. In Velyka Kostromka, no casualties were reported. Residential houses were damaged and destroyed in both settlements.

In Kharkiv, Russian troops opened fire on the city last night. Yesterday, Russians shelled Shevchenkivskyi District’s infrastructure with multiple launch rocket systems. According to the preliminary data, no casualties were reported. In Kharkiv Region, the aggressor opened fire on such districts as Chuhuiv, Bohodukhiv and Izium. One civilian was injured in Korobochkyne, Chuhuiv District.

In Luhansk Region, Russian invaders are extensively launching artillery strikes on Lysychansk. Three civilians were killed, including a 6-year-old boy. Last night a local shopping mall was destroyed in fire; four houses and mine facilities were damaged. In addition, Russians destroyed 11 houses in Vrubivka, four houses in Zolote, two houses and a nursery school in Hirske. The Ukrainian military successfully repulsed enemy assault operations in such directions as Viktorivka-Vrubivka and Komyshuvakha-Vrubivka. The enemy resumed offensive operations near Zolote. Three civilians were killed and one injured.

In Donetsk Region, active hostilities are underway near Avdiivka, Marianka, Krasnohorivka, Sviatohirsk and Lyman. Last night Russian troops launched air strikes on Bakhmut and Udachne. About 50 detached houses, two hotels, railway infrastructure, transformer substations and power grids were damaged and destroyed. The region was left without gas supplies and partially without electricity and water supply services. Evacuation efforts are underway.

In Mykolaiv, explosions have been heard this morning. Yesterday, Russian troops opened fire on the Shyrokove community. According to the preliminary data, no casualties were reported, but residential houses were damaged and farm warehouses were destroyed. Russia’s shelling of the Bereznehuvate community continues. The data on casualties and damage caused are yet to be reported.

In Kherson, local residents ignored ‘Russia Day’ celebrations organized by Russian invaders. Nearly the entire area of Beryslav District is suffering from explosions and shelling, looting and tortures committed by Russian troops. Most villages have been left without water, electricity and gas supplies.

In the rest of regions, the situation was relatively calm last night.
